Who we are

Premier Coach provides a player development platform for football academies, coaches and players. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. Contact us at privacy@premiercoach.app.

Information we collect

Account details: name, email address, and the academy or team you belong to.

Profile and onboarding details: age group, playing positions, ability level, goals and availability.

Training data: session logs, check-ins, habits, self-assessments and progress checkpoints.

Media: video clips you upload for coach review.

Health and wearable data: where you choose to connect a device such as WHOOP, we receive recovery, sleep, heart-rate variability, resting heart rate and strain figures.

Technical data: device type, app version and basic diagnostics to keep the service reliable.

How we use it

To deliver your training programme and personalise sessions to your level and recovery.

To let your coach review your progress, give video feedback and adjust your plan.

To generate performance insights, nutrition guidance and readiness scores.

To operate, secure and improve the service. We do not sell your data.

Wearable and health data

Connecting a wearable is entirely optional. We only request the permissions needed for recovery, sleep, cycle and workout data, and we store access tokens securely on our servers. You can disconnect at any time from the Health screen, which stops further syncing immediately.

Sharing

Your training and health summaries are visible to the coaching staff of the academy you belong to. We use trusted infrastructure providers for hosting, database, storage and AI features, who process data on our instructions only. We may disclose data where legally required.

Children and young players

Pending legal review

Players aged 13 to 17 can create their own account, but a parent or guardian must give consent before they can use health data, wearables (such as Whoop), video upload or the AI coach chat. Until then those features stay switched off. Parents can switch each one on or off at any time from their own parent account.

Children under 13 cannot sign up themselves. A parent or guardian sets up the account for them and gives consent at the same time.

Parents and guardians can request access to, or deletion of, a young player's data at any time.

Retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. After an account is closed we delete or anonymise personal data within 90 days, unless a longer period is required by law.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, or object to certain processing. Email privacy@premiercoach.app and we will respond within 30 days.

Changes

We will post any updates to this policy on this page and, where changes are significant, notify you in the app.
